Jason studied at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW, where he received a Bachelor of Digital Media. He has a insatiable curiosity about all things creative and naturally has an interest in graphic, motion graphic and web design. He was involved in the creation of audivisual material for the OZeCulture Conference, 2002. Ever hungry, he became interested in digital architecture and he collaborated with Robert Fong of TSpace to design a proposal for the Flight 93 Memorial Competition in the United States. It was an intensive process, exploring turbulence, fluid dynamics, particle systems, pressure, before refining into an evocative memorial expression.
He also lectured with Robert at the University of Technology Sydney in a Summer Intensive on the application of animation software in digital architecture where he created custom software in Maya to aid in digital mapping and exploration.
From his background in visual art and the experimental, he is always looking for ways to 'break' programs, to push them into new ways of working, and is not averse to tinkering with code to make things happen.
